About this edition

The original text, lists, and meditation cues below preserve the book’s wording, with page footers and layout whitespace removed. The AI application and reflection are new adaptations.

This source page is a flow overview and pose inventory, rather than complete step-by-step instruction. The new application below is an attention or work exercise, separate from the physical sequence.

Historical and scientific claims, including the benefits listed in the source, have not yet undergone a complete evidence review.

The original flow overview

Sitting at a computer for too long can cause serious damage to the shoulders. More often than not, the shoulders round and the front body collapses in on itself. We have talked about how on a more subtle level, this is a strong signal to activate the fight-or-flight response. On a more obvious and visual note, the position creates immense strain on the body — especially the shoulders and neck. This yoga flow opens the front body and loosens up the shoulders.
