Lesson 54

You can’t compete with what you eat. Trust me — I have tried. It may work for a little while, but eventually you run into serious problems. I wanted to live in a world where I could eat infinite desserts, but that life wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be. It is absolutely vital to make sure you eat a balanced diet that is complete with all your essential vitamins and minerals. Did you know if you are deficient in magnesium, it will be almost impossible to relax? Don’t try to compete with what you eat. It is a war that cannot be won. Work with the body, and make sure you give it what it needs.

Notice that I did not tell you what specific diet to do. Don’t judge others for what they do or don’t eat, but instead focus on how you personally can eat as healthy as possible. When you drop the judgment, recognize the importance, and change how you look at things, you can even make nutrition fun.

Can you put the puzzle pieces together, and find the best diet for you? With the exception of fasting, eating is something you will do every day in life. This is a subject you should know about and be experimenting with for optimization. It is easier than ever with things like ChatGPT. Did you know there are even certain foods and food combinations that can improve specific things like focus? Ginger is a good example of this.

Don’t forget about water. Hydration is key for a healthy body and mind. The brain is the first thing to be affected when you are dehydrated. People complain about having to go to the bathroom more if they start drinking water. It is worth it, and that goes away as your body becomes accustomed to more water. Proper hydration leads to better cognitive function.
