The original flow overview

The hips can get extremely tight and locked up through a sedentary lifestyle. In the typical seated position of modern day times, the hips are in a flexed position for nearly the entire day. This is not balanced, and any imbalance in the body eventually leads to problems. If the hips are in flexion most of the day from sitting, we need to intentionally incorporate more hip extension into our lives to balance everything out.
