Coordination Connection

Lesson 37

Although not always the case, I have found that oftentimes the more coordinated a person is, the stronger the mind-body connection. Thus, doing things that improve coordination can also improve the mind-body connection and our ability to work as an integrated unit.

Yes, that is right. I am telling you in this lesson that playing sports and games is a productive thing to do and can actually improve your workflow. It is honestly mind-blowing. Much like doing nothing is sometimes the most productive thing you can do, playing a game is sometimes the best thing to do for overall productivity.

Running on a treadmill is great, but compare that to playing a pickup basketball game. Not only are you running, but you are moving various different directions, and changing speeds. You are jumping and lunging — all sorts of movements. You also have to be much more aware and alert.

To be clear, I am not saying you have to become an athlete in order to get the most out of AI. Some people don’t like sports at all, and it is all good. Everyone is built differently. However, I bet a lot of people like some of that stuff, but feel like they are wasting time every pickup basketball game. The point of this lesson is to tell you it is not a waste. Any time you are improving coordination and the mind-body connection, you are becoming more of an AI Yoga Master. Let go, and enjoy it!
